On November 24, 1970, writer Yukio Mishima composed his jisei (death poem) before committing ritual suicide. Here is what he wrote. Act as his ink brush, and use your arrow keys to write the characters of his death poem.

-

Translated:

散るをいとふ世にも人にもさきがけて 散るこそ花と吹く小夜嵐

-

BGM:  Adapted Kai Engel's Blur, building upon it by adding the Mononoke Hyōshigi sound to the beginning. Hyōshigi are used in traditional Japanese theaters to announce the beginning of a performance.

Beginning scene inspired by Mishima's Patriotism (1966) film.

Possible TW for allusion to suicide, not prominent but quite encapsulating.

Wahhhhh this is so good! I remember reading one of Mishima's books in high school, he was certainly a very interesting person and I really liked your poem presentation-- the colors and music: amazing.
